Item:123586402085Letter from the Third Auditor of the Treasury To the Secretary of War "Letter from the Third Auditor of the Treasury to the Secretary of War, Accompanied with a Statement, exhibiting the Payments made in each year to Officers of the Army, on account of transportation, since the last reduction of the Army, &c.," laid before the House by the Chairman of the Committee on Military Affairs, and ordered to be printed, on Jan. 23, 1823, printed by Gales & Seaton in 1823, 5.5" x 9" softcover, four pages (the title page and the statement of the auditor) plus 24 foldouts. No wrappers. The first four pages are detached from the foldouts and are in good condition. The foldouts are in excellent condition overall, with some foxing and a few scattered minor defects.
